Logan was back as school today after missing Thursday and Friday because of strep throat. Here he is working on his writing prompt about his favorite animal. He wrote “My favorite animal is a lion. He plays with a bol.” He drew exactly that to go along with it.

I’m still playing around with the Valentine set. I really like shooting on the white every once in a while so I end up leaving it up a little. And, it turns out, the boys suddenly want their pictures taken when I set it up!

We’re just warming up the set for the Valentine making shoot. We trying to get Max in on it too, but the best we could do to keep him in the shot was to put a treat on the ground!

This is probably going to be Connor’s last day of karate for awhile. He’s a bit too young and 4:30 pm is hard to make! He enjoyed his free month, but we think he will do better if we wait a bit.

Since the boys got their hats Saturday (which Connor’s is now missing…) an old photo of Jeremy and Jacob came out of the woodwork again. I showed Logan and Connor and they decided to recreate it. They got cowboy hats and cap guns and bandannas today. Something Jeremy said to Logan got him wanting to be a cowboy.

Both Logan and Connor were awards the sportsmanship medals at today’s games for each of their teams. Connor’s age group was focused on “paying attention” and Logan’s was on “courtesy.” Here they are waiting for their picture to be taken by the staff.
