So I got some cheap new equipment and force Jeremy to be my begrudging subject.  Logan and Connor wouldn’t stay still enough or serious enough for this.  Logan did help out standing behind Jeremy holding my Speedlite and pointing it at Jeremy’s back.  Then I set up my new Yongnuo YN-560 II Speedlight Flash in a portable softbox and put it in the kids wagon to the front-right of Jeremy.  He’s uplit because I didn’t have a stand though (sorry Jeremy!).  I used some really cheap radio flash triggers (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HODL7ZI/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I think it came out pretty cool!  Maybe I can setup better and try again tomorrow night.
