This kid really loves his soccer ball!

Tonight Logan decided to try to learn how to stand on his head.  He didn’t stay up long enough to get a picture, but here he is kicking his way into position on his bed.

Logan has been watching a lot of Harry Potter lately.  Tonight, after watching The Prisoner of Azkaban, Logan and Connor pretended to be Remus Lupin and Sirius Black.  Logan is pretending to be Lupin as a werewolf and Connor is Sirius as a dog (although I think he’s just playing puppy).

Logan says “I’m a ‘fessor!”  Apparently college professors wear purple glasses and have bulging eyes. And here are a few more:

Connor was complaining of an “owwie” on his foot so Logan checked it out for him.  It turned out to be a splinter.  It was successfully removed.  It happens when you run around barefoot! Then they had a little conversation about it.  And Connor asked Logan to help him down 🙂

Logan had his first hiking injury today.  He cut up his knee and was distraught for the next (and thankfully last!) half mile.  We came home, washed him up and put some band-aids on it.  He was thrilled we had some TMNT bandages waiting at home. Caleb joined us later in the day to play […]

Just call these boys the three amigos!  They’ve been having some fun together on various park playgrounds while Tiffany and I walk.  I’m not sure how well it’s working for Tiffany and Jalani, but Logan and Connor are filthy and exhausted afterward.  We get home and there’s a bath and then an easy bedtime!

Logan actually “read” this book to Connor.  We haven’t read it in a very long time, but he did it from memory and the pictures; he would sneak a peek at the page ahead to know what the animal on the page saw. He did an excellent job and Connor really enjoyed having Logan read […]
